FAQ
How do I tell whether an image is safe for commercial use?
Check three things: the licence type (CC0 generally needs no attribution, CC BY requires attribution, CC BY-NC excludes commercial use), whether the site states its commercial-use scope separately, and whether the individual asset carries its own restrictions. Confirming on the asset page before use is the safest route.
What link attributes are used?
Every external link carries nofollow, signalling that we do not endorse these third-party sites and do not want to distribute authority to them.
Why 49 sites and not more?
Only sites that are still online and whose licence terms are clear are included. Accuracy of each entry matters more than headcount.
